The primary role of this position is to assist with the successful execution of our expo strategy, from planning to onsite management. Temporary, part-time position. General Responsibilities: You will report directly to the Executive Director As part of a team: - Provide administrative support for the expo - Filing, typing, data entry, photocopying, collating, answer phones, etc. - Prepare and distribute exhibitor service kits. - Assist with onsite coordination of the expo. - Assist with the set-up and tear-down of the expo. - Maintain the confidentiality of the Chamber of Commerce business, records and information concerning members, expo exhibitors, board and committee members and staff. - Complete all other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director. Knowledge and Skills Required: - Good organizational and communication skills - Excellent customer service skills - Knowledge of Microsoft office software - Ability to work with limited supervision - Ability to work within a team setting - Grade 12 Education - Previous work experience as an Office Assistant would be an asset but not necessary We thank all applicants for their interest and will contact those selected for an interview.
